I am the only wildlife presenter to have appeared regularly on BBC Countryfile, The One Show, Coast and Springwatch. I use my expertise as a wildlife film maker, cameraman and photographer to capture images of some of the best of British Wildlife. I love working on screen with contributors and am just as comfortable holding the show on my own. I fist came to recognition with my "Cinematic Landscape Film"s which I authored and shot for BBC Springwatch. These pieces were more artistic and personal than the shows usual content and I was commissioned to make them over several series. You can see some those films on my website here.
I fronted my own half hour for BBC 1'S Urban Jungle and was given the job on Countryfile to celebrate the BBC's Summer of Wildlife. I was part of a three strong presenting team for BBC 1's Big Blue UK along with Hugh Fearnely Whittingstall and Lyndsay Chapman which provided some of BBC Daytime's highest ratings. For 3 years I fronted my own hour long live morning show for BBC Autumnwatch Extra where viewers get to watch me at work in real time, commentating unscripted about the wildlife I find.
I have been working in this field for over 20 years and have an in-depth knowledge across all genres. I've worked with conservationists, members of the public and some of the industries biggest names and can handle live shows, scripted documentary and off the cuff observational wildlife drama. Some of my favourite films and my showreel are below. I love my job.
